নিয়ম:1- I/we/me/us এর বদলে you হবে।
My/our থাকলে your হবে।
নিয়ম:2- ব্যক্তিকে প্রশ্ন করলে WH হিসাবে Who/whom/whose ব্যবহার করতে হয়।
বস্তুকে প্রশ্ন করলে what/which কি/কোনটি/ কোনগুলি
নিয়ম:3- স্থান বা জায়গাকে প্রশ্ন করলে where কোথায়
নিয়ম:4- সময়কে প্রশ্ন করলে when কখন
নিয়ম:5- কত বয়স How old
নিয়ম:6- ঘড়ির টাইম/ কটা বাজে what time
নিয়ম:7- কোথা থেকে where from
নিয়ম:8- কি জন্যে what for
নিয়ম:9- কি ধরনের what type of /what sort of
নিয়ম:10- because/to+Verb/because of/ for বাকিগুলি থাকলে why দিয়ে প্রশ্ন করতে হয়
নিয়ম:11- কত/ কেমন/ কিভাবে by/adjective থাকলে How ?
নিয়ম:12- Have/has been ing +for/since থাকলে How long (কতক্ষণ) দিয়ে প্রশ্ন করতে হয়।
নিয়ম:13- কতদূর How far/How many km away
নিয়ম:14- Nobody থাকলে who দিয়ে প্রশ্ন করতে হয়
নিয়ম:15- None থাকলে who দিয়ে প্রশ্ন করতে হয়
নিয়ম:16- Everybody থাকলে who does not/who did not দিয়ে প্রশ্ন করতে হয়।

নিয়ম:17- - WH+auxiliary verb+বাক্যের প্রথম থেকে সবটা নিতে হবে তবে যে শব্দটাকে প্রশ্ন করা হচ্ছে সেই শব্দটা বাদ যাবে। সাহায্যকারী verb না থাকলে do/does/did নিতে হবে Tense অনুযায়ী।
Note:-Subject কে প্রশ্ন করলে এ নিয়ম অনুযাযী হবে না। বাকি বাদ সব ক্ষেত্রে এই নিয়ম প্রযোজ্য।
নিয়ম:18- -ইংরেজি বাক্যের মধ্যে WH প্রশ্নটা উল্লেখ না থাকলে বাক্যটির শেষ দিক থেকে প্রশ্ন করতে হয় আর শেষ দিক থেকে প্রশ্ন করা না গেলে বাক্যটির subject কে প্রশ্ন করতে হয়।
Q:-I feel feverish today. আমি আজ জ্বর জ্বর অনুভব করছি। এখানে যদি “today” কে প্রশ্ন করা হয় তাহলে প্রশ্ন টি হবে “তুমি কবে জ্বর জ্বর অনুভব করছো” ?

নিয়ম:19- Today অর্থাৎ সময়কে প্রশ্ন করতে গেলে when ব্যবহার করতে হয়।
আর যদি Adjective “feverish” কে প্রশ্ন করা হয় তাহলে প্রশ্নটিই হবে “তুমি আজ কেমন অনুভব করছো” ?

অর্থাৎ adjective কে প্রশ্ন করতে গেলে How ব্যবহার করতে হয়।
আর যদি subject প্রশ্ন করা হয় তাহলে প্রশ্ন টি হবে ” কে আজ জ্বর জ্বর অনুভব করছে” ?
Who feels feverish today ? অর্থাৎ subject কে প্রশ্ন করতে গেলে শুধু subject এর জায়গায় who বসাতে হবে আর কোনো পরিবর্তন করতে হবে না।

Q:- The seminar was held in Delhi. যদি WH শব্দটা প্রশ্নে উল্লেখ করে না দেয় তাহলে তাহলে বাক্যটির শেষ দিক থেকে প্রশ্ন করতে হয়। তাই এখানে দিল্লি কে প্রশ্ন করতে হবে। প্রশ্নটিই হবে “সেমিনারটি কোথায় অনুষ্ঠিত হয়েছিল” ?
